Our vision for our School Ambassadors is to help every child engage and lead change in their world and be involved in democracy.
Our Aim
We aim to
- Allow every child to become a productive citizen.
- Allow every child to be involved in democracy, particularly involving British Values.
- Listen to each other and try help solve problems.
- Improve children’s communication skills.
- Improve our learning.
- Improve our school environment.
- Support charities.
- Hold fund raising events.
Our Implementation
The School Ambassadors will be overseen by Mrs Kirby.
At Ardleigh Green, each class in the Junior School elects one pupil to serve as a School Ambassador for the academic year. These pupils are chosen by their classmates to represent their views and contribute to school life in meaningful ways.
Role of a School Ambassador
- Attend termly meetings with staff and fellow ambassadors to discuss school matters.
- Represent their class, sharing ideas and feedback on behalf of their peers.
- Support a variety of school and community activities, including:
- The Family Centre and Baby Club
- Litter picking initiatives
- New intake events and other school occasions
- At the end of their term, ambassadors meet with Mrs. Johnson to provide feedback on their experience. They reflect on what has gone well and suggest ideas for how we can continue to improve life at Ardleigh Green.
- We are proud of our ambassadors and the important role they play in shaping our school community.
