School Uniform

The school has a strict school uniform policy. This policy should be considered alongside the Behaviour and Attendance Policy, as disciplinary sanctions may be imposed for breaches. In line with the Statutory Guidance on the Cost of School Uniform, all branded items can be purchased from the school’s recommended stockists:

Children need to wear practical clothing for school, which is:

  • clearly named – please check regularly
  • washable
  • easy to move about in
  • easy to remove and put on
  • appropriate for the weather (especially warm clothes for the winter)
  • nail varnish/false nails should not be worn
  • hair should be of a natural colour and kept in a tidy style
  • make up should not be worn

Jewellery

Jewellery, other than stud earrings, should not be worn in school at any time; no bangles, bracelets or smart watches.

For those children who have pierced ears – only stud earrings are permitted and school policy is that these must be removed for all PE and physical activities.

School Uniform

Clothing needs to be clearly labelled at all times

  • White shirt / polo shirt
  • Green sweatshirt, cardigan, jumper (no other colours please)
  • Green fleece – for outdoor use only (optional)
  • Grey skirt / Pinafore dress / trousers
  • Shoes – black, flat and below the ankle. No boots or trainers
  • Summer shoes / sandals – flat with some back support (not clogs, crocs, jellies, or flip flops)
  • Grey or white socks (socks to be worn in summer with sandals)
  • Tights – black, grey, green.
  • Summer dresses – green check (can be worn with green cardigan, no other colour)

Book bags (available from Havering Schoolwear) should be used by children in Years 3 and 4. Children in Years 5 and 6 may bring a bag/rucksack.

PE and Gymnastics

A new Physical Education (PE) kit, which has been phased in from September 2025. This change has been made to ensure that all pupils are equipped with a practical, comfortable, and uniform PE kit that reflects our school’s values and identity.

The new PE kit will consist of:

  • A white t-shirt with the school logo (compulsory)
  • Black shorts (plain or with logo)
  • Black tracksuit bottoms (plain or with logo)
  • A green quarter-zip sweatshirt with the school logo (compulsory)
  • Plain black or white trainers suitable for sport 

Transition Period

The new kit was compulsory for Reception and Year 3 from September 2025. For other year groups they are permitted to wear the old kit, until it needs replacing.
