School Council

We are now known as -The A Team! I would like to thank all the children that entered our A-Team badge competition. We are very pleased to announce that Bonnie in Year 3 was the winner and her A-Team badge is now on display in our school hall. This is the beginning of a new era for our school council and we are looking forward to some fantastic projects.

Already this year we have :
  • Raised £223.55 for The British Legion's Poppy Appeal
  • Put on a School Bake off and raised £562.23 for Children in Need
  • Completed a school audit of children's lunches - we are hoping to soon receive the Bronze Healthy School Award

Our School Council is made up of two elected representatives from each class who meet with Mrs Carroll our Deputy Headteacher fortnightly. Our Council members work closely with their class and teacher to make Ardleigh Green Junior School the very best school it can be.

The A Team - Your Views, Our Vision

Our School Council  aims is to:

  • Work Together, Learn Together and Grow Together
  • Listen to each other and try to solve problems
  • Help build friendships
  • Keep Mr Morris informed about the great things about Ardleigh Green as well as the things we could do better
  • Organise Fund Raising events
  • Support Charities

We have also raised money to buy new play equipment for our Play Leaders and new football posts for the playground.

Keep your eyes open for the next A Team fund raiser - let's have fun making our school and even happier, safer and more caring place to be!
