World Autism Awareness Week

Mrs Johnson - 27 Mar 2017

This week is World Autism Awareness Week.

Today the children will be having an assembly celebrating 'Differences' and during the week there will be some time spent in class thinking about Autism.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, we are holding our Coffee Afternoon for Parents at the Family Centre, starting at 1.30 pm.  Our guest speaker is Jennie Stanbridge. Jennie is a Social Communication Advisor who has worked closely with Havering schools and Paediatricians. You are all warmly invited to attend this session.

On Friday we are having a non-uniform day.  The colours for World Autism Week are pink and purple so if the children would like to wear something in these colours they can - otherwise non-uniform is fine.

We are looking forward to a great week!
